Timothea’s artistic journey spans over four decades, marked by a rich interplay of creativity, exploration, and personal transformation. After a year of intensive drawing and painting in Spain, she was awarded a prestigious painting and living studio at La Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. Immersed in a vibrant community of international musicians, composers, sculptors, and painters, Timothea’s time in Paris was both inspiring and transformative. Her talent quickly gained recognition, leading to participation in exhibitions both within Paris and beyond.

During these formative years, she began crafting a deeply personal visual language, inspired by her surroundings and experiences. Her connection to the musical life of Paris, influenced by her marriage to a musician, further enriched her artistic expression.

As her life evolved, so did her career. Transitioning from painting to consulting, Timothea collaborated with museums, private collectors, and art dealers. Upon returning to California, she established herself as an art consultant and opened a Los Angeles gallery. Her debut exhibition celebrated Wallace Berman, a pioneer of assemblage art and a key figure in post-war California’s art history.

Timothea’s journey took an introspective turn during her later years in Paris, when she began experiencing a series of serendipitous events that defied logical explanation. These encounters ignited a spiritual awakening, propelling her toward personal growth and inner exploration. Following this path, she facilitated experiential seminars and engaged in service work, which became an extension of her creative practice.

After a significant hiatus, Timothea returned to painting, prompted by a class that explored spiritual masters. This period marked a resurgence of creativity, with vivid inner imagery guiding her work. Her paintings evolved into a series of dynamic triptychs, each exploring energy, vibration, and bold color harmonies. While the triptychs stand individually, they also form cohesive narratives, amplifying their impact when experienced together.
